PERFECTLY TIMED AIRBOSS SED CHALLENGE
AirBoss made a massive impact at the recent SED show, with a challenge that showed the worth of its puncture-proof, segmented tyre system.
Participants had to change an AirBoss tyre segment in under two minutes to win a beer. Understandably, the challenge was popular, with visitors flocking to the stand. This buzz helped AirBoss to demonstrate the system’s benefits to a wide range of visitors, generating many positive enquiries. AirBoss hopes to bolster its existing customer portfolio, which already includes Bobcat, CAT, Komatsu and JCB. Most people managed a sub-two minute time, with the quickest at one minute, eighteen seconds. The fastest participant on each day received a family pass for Diggerland, who also donated one of its vehicles – fitted with AirBoss tyres – for the show. AirBoss CEO, Don Gillanders, said, “SED has been great event for us. Everyone who came to the stand commented on how unique the AirBoss tyre system is – and they’re right, as we hold the patent! The challenge was a huge success and it enabled us to demonstrate the real benefits of the AirBoss tyre system.
Ends 1 June 2007
Notes to Editors
AirBoss is a Gloucestershire registered company whose puncture-proof system has established a reputation as the most cost effective answer to punctures and tyre-related downtime. The tyres are British made in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, United Kingdom, in a 21000 sq ft factory premises.
With an ever-growing number of mobile equipment users, the system is used across a wide range of applications that includes construction, demolition, waste management, foundries and agriculture. In fact, AirBoss tyres can operate in almost any working environment where hostile conditions cause punctures, tyre damage or excessive wear.
